SACRED To the Memory of JOHN T. FORD ESQr who departed this life June the 30th 1824 in the 44th year of his age.

He possessed a mind of the first order, a temper mild and benevolent and feelings exquisite and honourable. A purer spirit never left this earthly tenement to inhabit the mansions of immortality.

[2] John T. Ford died, clerk of the Chancery court. “An honest and valuate officer.” “Possessed of a mind of the first order, a temper mild and benevolent and feelings exquisite and honorable”. Also served Bank Director, councilman, member of Benevolent society, Charity School trustee.
